Canterbury Orchid Society
The Canterbury Orchid Society is situated in the beautiful Canterbury Plains region on the South Island of New Zealand. Our Society promotes the cultivation of, and the exchange of knowledge about orchids that can be grown both in the home and greenhouse. We encourage members to exhibit plants from their collections and to make plants available for exchange and/or sale.
We have a diverse membership, ranging from beginners to veteran collectors. The Society encourages the passing on of regional knowledge and experience needed to grow orchids in this area of the world.
Collecting and cultivating orchids is an enjoyable and satisfying hobby for people of all ages. We have an open and friendly club environment where new members are always welcome.
So come and check us out!
